Mirjam was formed in Switzerland and Italy as a Contemporary Dancer.
In Italy she danced during 3 years in the Company “Kaleido Danse” of the two Choreographers Giovanna la Vecchia and Dario Greco.
Back in Switzerland she dived into the Middle Eastern Dance Culture and became a member of the Egyptian Folklore Group of Khaled Seif. For 7 years she toured with this group and worked besides as a freelance in the contemporary dance world with different Companies.
During that time she started to develop an own contemporary language based with movements of contemporary dance and the folklore of Middle Eastern dances and the north of Africa.
In the year 2014 she finished her diploma as a Oriental Dance teacher specialised in the Mahmoud Reda Style AATEC by Nesma in Madrid.
Currently she is teaching and choreographs for different dance and theatre groups in the West Bank and the Gaza-Strip. She became a specialist for Middle Eastern Dance Culture and teaches Worldwide her own dance language.

Mirjam wurde in der Schweiz und Italien als zeitgenössische Tänzerin ausgebildet. In Italien tanzte sie während 3 Jahren in der Genuesischen Company der zwei Choreographen Giovanna la Vecchia und Dario Greco "Kaleido Danse".
Zurück in der Schweiz tauchte sie ein die Tanzkultur des Mittleren Ostens und wurde Mitglied der Ägyptischen Folklore Tanzgruppe von Khaled Seif. Während 7 Jahren tourte sie mit der Gruppe und arbeitete weiterhin als freelance Tänzerin in verschiedenen zeitgenössischen Tanzproduktionen.
Während dieser Zeit begann sie eine eigene zeitgenössische Tanzsprache zu entwickeln und fusionierte Bewegungen des zeitgenössischen Tanzes und den narrativen Tänzen des Mittleren Ostens und Nord Afrika.
Im Jahre 2014 beendete sie die Ausbildung als Orientalische Tanzlehrerin AATEC in Madrid bei der bekannten Tänzerin Nesma Al-Andalus.
Zur Zeit unterrichtet und choreographiert sie für verschiedene Tanz- und Theatergruppen im Westjordan Land und dem Gaza Streifen wie der El-Funoun Dance Company, dem Al-Harah Theatre und der Theatre Day Productions in Gaza City.
