Ägyptische Folklore

Wer ägyptische Folklore erlernen möchte oder bereits tanzt kommt nicht an Mahmoud Reda vorbei. Mahmoud Reda ist der Gründer des ersten ägyptischen Folklore Ballets, der berühmten Reda-Troupe. Sein typischer Tanzstil, bekannt geworden als Reda-Style gründet auf seinen Reisen durch ganz Ägypten wo er die Folklore Tänze der verschiedenen Regionen studierte und dann für die grosse Bühne adaptierte.
Sein Gruppe bereiste insgesamt über 60 Länder und Mahmoud Reda wurde für seine Verdienste mehrfach Ausgezeichnet.
Einige bekannte Tänzer und Tänzerinnen gingen aus seiner Gruppe hervor wie z.B. Farida Fahmi, Raqia Hassan und auch Nesma Al-Andalous als einzige europäische Tänzerin.


Who wants to learn egyptian folklor dances or is already dancing will sooner or later fall into Mahmoud Reda. Mahmoud Reda is the founder of the first Egyptian Folklore Ballet, the famous Reda-Troupe. His typical dance style, became known as Reda-Style, is based on his travels through Egypt where he studied the folklore dances of the different regions and developped them for the big stage.
His troupe traveled over 60 countries and Mahmoud Reda was awarded several times for his great achievements.
Many well known dancers came out of his troupe such as Farida Fahmi, Raqia Hassan and as well Nesma Al-Andalous as the only european dancer.
