Nesma Al-Andalus
As some of you already know there is a lot that connects me to Nesma. During 8 years Nesma lived in Cairo as a Cabaret Dancer on the road with her own Orchestra and Equipment. She had the chance to experience the flowering period of Oriental Dance in Cairo and her knowledge is irreplaceable. After that she become the only European dancer in the famous Reda-Troupe.
Even today she connects a deep friendship with the Egyptian maestro and for me personally Nesma represents authenticity in Oriental Dance.
During the last few years I had the opportunity to be part of her dance company “Al-Andalus” and all the projects were characterized by large care, precision and professionalism.
Musicians:
It is another a big honour for me to present you this exclusive Baladi Workshop accompanied by the exceptional accordionist and composer of all CD’s of Nesma: Ahmed Abdel Fattah.
Together with this great Egyptian musician and the excellent percussionist Kamal Essahbi we will immerse with theory and praxis in the mystery of improvisation accordion baladi.
safe the date already now for this really exceptional opportunity to learn and be with that big artists!!!
